2017-18 Aboriginal Scholarship Peoples

Montreal, January 19th, 2018 – EACOM Timber Corporation is pleased to announce the recipient of its 2017-18 Aboriginal Scholarship Award: Brittany Aiabens from Wikwemikong First Nation. Brittany is currently completing her Business studies at Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario. Her ultimate goal is to work towards serving and providing for her community. She is focused on completing her business program with determination and plans to pursue a third year of Project Management, also at Cambrian College.

Brittany visited the Nairn Centre sawmill where Richard Cuddihy, EACOM Senior Vice President Human Resources, presented her with her award. Brittany is a very worthy recipient of EACOM’s Aboriginal Peoples Scholarship and we wish her the very best in her future ambitions.

At EACOM, we believe that contributing to a strong community is an important part of living up to our values of respect, integrity, and collaboration. As our company grows, so does our commitment to encouraging the activities of our employees, to supporting local initiatives, and to engaging with youth in our communities.
