EACOM First Nations Education Award – Here are the winners!

VAL-D’OR, QC, February 1st, 2016 – EACOM is pleased to announce that 2 recipients have been chosen for the 2015-2016 EACOM First Nations Education Award. Established in 2001, this program encourages First Nation members by providing financial support up to $1000 to students interested in pursuing a post-secondary education related to the fields of forestry or business.

Traditionally, there has been a single annual recipient, but this year, EACOM recognizes two outstanding candidates.

This year’s recipients are:
• Sarah Josephine Thivierge from Winneway, Qc
• Maureen Papatie from Lac-Simon, Qc
